Information

Rahnee the She-Wolf was part of the second generation after Timmain's mating with the wolves. Rahnee was the silverhaired leader of the group Wolfriders and a small group of pure elves. She was the daughter of Timmorn Yellow-Eyes, who was half wolf and half elf, and her mother was the pureblooded Valloa. She was one of the first-born and like many of her generation she experienced many troubles with the mixed blood within her. It seemed to fight in their veins.

Rahnee wasn't one of the greatest hunters or the strongest Wolfrider in the group. When Timmorn gave her the chief's lock she didn't even have a name yet. She was unimportant, nameless and still her father chose her as his successor. She had to fight for that position, because many were stronger and they didn't want a nameless chief.

In the beginning of her leadership she recognized Zarhan Fastfire, a pureblooded elf with bright red hair and beautiful green eyes. He possessed the power to create fire and was a good lifemate to Rahnee, who was a difficult person to live with.
During the same period she finds her real name and she becomes Rahnee the She-Wolf, second chief of the Wolfriders.

She and Zarhan had many children, who were all called Brighteyes in their first years, until they were old enough to receive their own.
Their first son was killed by the crushing hoofs of deers. Their second cub, a daughter, was called Mar and looked similar to her father. She even inherited some of his magic. One day she and her lifemate decided to leave the tribe and tried to find their own way with their cub. They were never seen again.
Their third cub, a son called Ice, was very cool and icy. He died after a rebellion between some tribemates and his mother, which he caused himself, because Rahnee refused to give him his true name. He left with some of his followers and they all died during an attack of bears. Rahnee found him with a knife of Timmain (made of the same material as the palace) in his body.
Their last son was called Prumepit, who was later called Preypacer by his tribe. He became chief of the Wolfriders after Rahnee. Prumepit could bond very well with animals, he understood them better than he understood his own kind. He wasn't a very good hunter, but this bonding made him a very good one, because he could communicate with his bondwolf and knew exactly how it would react and move.

Rahnee died during an attack of Allos, reptile-like creatures that destroy everything they encounter. Preypacer became chief, but Zarhan wasn't convinced that his lifemate was truly dead. He left the tribe and tried to find her. He walked through the woods for weeks and when he almost gave up his search, he saw Timmorn, who gave him two wolves to join him. And so Zarhan moved on, still surprised by the appearance of Timmorn.
At last Zarhan finds his beloved with a small group of strange elves. These elves were living from milk-products and were wearing clothing made out of wool. The two elves are so happy to see each other again and they decide to leave the leadership to their son. Together with the strange elves and the two wolves they begin a new life, a new beginning of new elves.

Rahnee didn't die during the Allo attack / stampede, but there was not a single bone left whole in her body. She was rescued by a small group of elf youth (Cheseri, Delonin, Kelagry and Merolen), who called themselves Trickster's Clan and had lost their tribe to the same Allos. She then spent ten years in coma, healing herself. Zarhan found her and Recognized Cheseri but refused it, being afraid that "their passion would not fade", because Cheseri "didn't live in the Wolfsong" and he wanted so much to Recognize Rahnee again. But in the end, he gave up.
When Rahnee woke, she Recognized Merolen and answered the call. Then she told Zarhan that it meant nothing except that there would be another baby. That she still wanted to be his lifemate and that he had been the one to keep her alive: Quite likely because Zarhan had fed her good raw meat "the way wolves do" (chew, swallow and then vomit it to her mouth).
